BECOME AN IRONWOOD GOLF COURSE VENDOR
Do you want to provide food service during events held at Ironwood Golf Course? We welcome licensed food truck vendors to support tournaments, banquets, meetings, and other facility rentals.
Below are the requirements and guidelines for food truck vendors providing services during facility room rentals and special events.
Food Truck Service Guidelines
Food truck vendors may operate during approved:
- Facility room rentals
- Special events
- Tournaments
- Community programs
- City-approved functions
All food truck participation must be scheduled and approved in advance by Ironwood Golf Course staff.
Important Restrictions
- Food and non-alcoholic beverage sales only
- Alcohol sales are not permitted unless specifically approved through Ironwood Golf Course and City licensing procedures.
- Vendors may only operate in designated food truck service areas assigned by Ironwood staff.
- Food trucks must remain self-contained at all times.
- Dumping of grease, gray water, or food waste onto the ground, into landscaping, parking areas, or storm drains is strictly prohibited.
- All grease, gray water, and food-related waste must be contained within the food truck and removed from the property for proper disposal off-site.
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean service area during and after operation.
- Any spills of grease, oil, or food waste must be immediately cleaned by the vendor.
- Vendors may be held financially responsible for damage or cleanup costs resulting from grease spills, improper disposal, or excessive waste left on-site.
Load-In and Load-Out Requirements
All vendors must adhere to assigned setup and removal times.
- Prearranged load-in and load-out times are required
- Typical Load-In Times:
As early as 6:30 AM, unless otherwise approved - Load-Out Deadline:
All equipment must be removed no later than 10:00 PM, unless approved in advance
Load-in and load-out schedules are coordinated based on:
- Facility rental schedule
- Event timeline
- Staff availability
Failure to follow assigned times may impact future vendor approval.
Generator and Equipment Requirements
- Food trucks are required to operate using self-contained generators.
- Electrical hookups are not provided by Ironwood Golf Course.
- Generators must be:
- Quiet operating
- Properly maintained
- Safely secured during operation
- Positioned to minimize noise and exhaust near guests and buildings
- Vendors are responsible for:
- Fuel supply
- Safe generator operation
- Compliance with all fire and safety regulations
Generators that create excessive noise, smoke, or safety concerns may be required to shut down at the discretion of Ironwood staff.
Vendor Approval Requirements
All food truck vendors must complete the approval process before operating at Ironwood Golf Course.
Required documentation includes:
- Completed Ironwood Golf Course Vendor Agreement
- Proof of General Liability Insurance
- Valid Food Service License
- Applicable Health Department Permits
- Applicable Business License
All documents must be submitted:
A minimum of seven (7) business days prior to the scheduled event.
Vendors without approved documentation will not be permitted to operate.
Vendor Fees
Food truck vendor fees are as follows:
- Standard Vendor Fee:
$47.25 per day - Special Event Vendor Fee:
$99.75 per day
Vendor fees:
- Must be pre-paid
- Must be paid at least seven (7) business days in advance
- Are non-refundable
- No rainchecks or credits will be issued
Booking and Scheduling
Food truck vendors are scheduled based on:
- Facility rental reservations
- Special event schedules
- Available space
- Staffing availability
Vendor locations will be assigned by Ironwood staff.
Vendor reservations are:
- First-come, first-served
- Confirmed upon payment receipt

Special Event Considerations
During large-scale events or facility-wide rentals:
- Vendor participation may be limited
- Some private rentals may restrict outside vendors
- Ironwood staff will coordinate final placement and approval
Food trucks may be booked:
Up to 60 days in advance
Waste Management Requirements
All vendors must comply with:
City of Gainesville Zero Waste Initiative
Vendors are responsible for:
- Proper disposal of waste
- Removal of grease and food waste
- Maintaining a clean service area
- Removing all vendor-generated trash
Failure to comply may result in removal from approved vendor status.
Vendor Conduct Expectations
Food truck vendors must:
- Maintain professional conduct
- Operate safely and responsibly
- Follow instructions from Ironwood staff
- Stay within assigned operating areas
- Maintain proper food safety practices
- Avoid blocking access roads or pedestrian paths
